SweetiePie and Duke whelped 7 male and 2 female puppies, all healthy & hearty, on June 21st, 2009. We're very pleased to announce that all of the great puppies of this litter are at home with loving families; we kept a male (Ollie) and a female (Mia) to perpetuate our Chesaroyal lines. If you're willing to wait for a very special puppy send us an email at info@chesaroyal.com and we'll send you an early announcement of our upcoming litter. Which should be spring of 2010 and from either Lacey or Lucky. |

Tripp is reported to be doing
well; playing with daughter Lexi and learning how to co-exist with
the older Chessie "Deuce". He was quick to finish potty training
and sleeping all night.

"Pi" - Chesaroyal Humble Pi |
||||
|
|
Pi lives on Vancouver Island, part way up on the inner passage. He gets to tag along to Mark's office some days. The two family cats are still cool to Pi, but his big buddy "Fast Eddy" is much more accepting of puppy pranks. |

||
| MoJo lives in the Olympia, WA area and spends lots of time in the woods and at the Pacific ocean. He's a new companion for Barley, on the right. He's a lucky dog, going to work with Arlene and sleeping along Dave's side of the bed! | ||||

"Mia" - Chesaroyal's Fetch Mia Pheasant |
||||
![]() |
Mia is our "wild child". When only 8 weeks old she was so rambunctious that she wrenched her neck. After two months of isolation and forced inactivity (read "stoner" puppy) she fully recovered. We're gradually giving her play and romp time with Grandma's Ariel and Annie. She turned out to be a little too wild for our pack, so we adopted her out. She now hikes and bikes with her new parents, and is a spoiled "only-child". |

"Ollie" - Chesaroyal's Oliver Twist |
||||
![]() |
Although we've said for a long time that we wouldn't have a male Chessie while we're breeders, Ollie stole our hearts when he was a little puppy we called "Clown". He matured nicely and is a beautiful nutty brown color like his Grandmother AnnieOakley. Eventually, we decided to get Ollie neutered, and we adopted him out to a wonderful home with a mountain cabin on a lake. He's extremely happy. |

The puppies now equal their mother in total weight. SweetiePie is only willing to nurse when she gets "cleanups" on the puppy chow. |

Tripp demonstrates the Chessie's natural ability to tunnel to China (or maybe it's Australia that he senses down there). |
