Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
Our goals are to:
Breed versatile and healthy Chesapeake Bay Retrievers suitable for home, show ring or hunting,
Place our puppies and older dogs in homes willing to work to keep them healthy and well trained,
Train a select few as therapy or service (assistance) dogs, and,
Share our experiences, the good and the bad, with everyone interested in the Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
We want to meet your needs, whether you:
Are a novice puppy buyer looking for a family pet,
Recently lost a dearly beloved pet,
Have a hunting family needing a combination pet/companion/gundog, or
Are just a Chessie lover.

We will work with each of you in a very personalized way:
Initial interview to learn more about you and your family and your experience with raising a puppy,
Litter testing and screening to develop a personality profile for your puppy, and
Constant personalized communication, including photos, while your puppy is growing and developing.
Responsive support after you take your Chesaroyal pup home. If you've got a problem, we've got a problem.
What we DON'T do:
Sell "pick-of-the-litter"; each of our pups is selected by us for you, with your participation, based on our 24/7 observations of the litter. Anyone who thinks they can pick "the best pup" after spending 15 min. watching the litter is somewhat delusional.
Breed for any specific purpose such as field trial, conformation showing, or even service dog; the Chesapeake Bay Retriever gene pool is too small to mess with inbreeding any more. We only outcross our girls for a balance of positive Chessie attributes.
